Shahreen Rahman

Research Assistant
Shahreen Rahman is a Research Assistant at the Global Health and Innovation Lab. She holds a Bachelors in Health Sciences and a Master’s in Science in Health Promotion.  She contributes to multiple projects within the Global Health and Innovation Lab, including studies on visual arts strategies and vaccine uptake, vaccine deployment in Canada and Nigeria, and leadership strategies for scaling up health innovations. Her research examines the determinants of using mHealth interventions, such as WhatsApp, to support maternal health in rural South Asia. She also actively supports the Strengthening Pandemic Vaccine Preparedness in Africa (SPAVPA) initiative.
