Omolola Olorunbiyi

Research Assistant
Omolola holds a master’s degree in Environmental Biology and Public Health from the Federal University of Technology in Akure, Nigeria. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the Health Promotion Field in the Health and Rehabilitation Sciences program at Western University, Canada. Her research interests include infectious diseases, neglected tropical diseases, environmental health, and implementation science. Omolola has engaged in different research projects; one of these projects identified the barriers and facilitators to school-based praziquantel mass drug administration programs in Nigeria. She was also actively involved in the mass drug administration program for schistosomiasis organized by the Federal Ministry of Health in Abuja, Nigeria. Omolola enjoys listening to music, watching movies, and playing games at her leisure time.
