Asa Wessner

Research Assistant

Asa Wessner is an undergraduate. research assistant at the Global Health Innovation Lab. She is currently completing her fourth year of an Honours Specialization in Health Sciences degree at Western University. Within the lab, she contributes to multiple projects, including a systematic review on leadership competencies in scaling up health interventions and a related qualitative study. Her previous academic work includes developing a feasible health intervention proposal addressing type 2 diabetes in Canadian Indigenous populations. These experiences have strengthened her focus on evidence-based approaches to health systems and intervention design, supporting GHIL’s mission of advancing global health solutions.
