Bethlehem Tesfaye

Bethlehem Tesfaye is an alumna of the University of Toronto, where she majored in Health Studies (Population Health) and minored in African Studies and Sociology. Her research interests include public health, health equity, and global health. Within the lab, she has contributed to a multitude of projects that include Vitamin A supplementation, Resiliency Through COVID-19, and implementation science. Bethlehem is currently working on co-authoring a scoping review focusing on healthcare consumerism. In the future, Bethlehem hopes to pursue a master’s in public health and a career that focuses on improving the quality of life for vulnerable communities. In her free time, she enjoys cinematography and spending time with friends and family.
