Sasha Strong

Research Assistant

Sasha Strong completed her undergraduate degree at Western University, where she pursued an Honors Specialization in Health Sciences. Her research interests include health equity, maternal health, and accessibility. Within the Global Health and Innovation Lab (GHIL), Sasha is currently involved in projects oriented around improving the awareness of preventive measures and testing around STBBIs among Black populations in Canada. With a strong commitment to making a positive impact, Sasha envisions her future in the field of Global Health and aims to pursue a Master’s degree in Global or Public Health. Beyond her academic pursuits, Sasha is actively involved in the non-profit organization, Penpals4peace. Within the organization, she supports initiatives aimed at improving access to education for youth in Yemen and Madagascar, as well as London communities faced with housing and food insecurities.
