Thuwaraka Mohanakumar is an undergraduate research student in the GHIL. She is in her fourth year of Medical Sciences at Western University, pursuing an Honours Specialization in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences. As a research student at GHIL, she assisted Dr. Ezezika with website development and editing global health presentations. Thuwaraka also helped recruit stakeholders and presented background intersectional research on vaccination rates among African communities at the first stakeholder conference for the Vaccine Hesitancy Project. She will be continuing her involvement in the Vaccine Hesitancy Project through data collection efforts.
