Thuwaraka Mohanakumar is a research assistant in the GHIL. She completed her undergraduate studies in the Bachelor of Medical Sciences program with an Honours Specialization in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences at Western University. As a research student at GHIL, she supports Dr. Ezezika with website development and editing global health presentations. Thuwaraka also helped recruit stakeholders and presented background research on vaccination rates among African communities at the first stakeholder conference for the Vaccine Hesitancy Project. She is currently involved in logistical and research support for SPAVPA.
