Tiana Kotsaftis

Research Assistant

Tiana Kotsaftis is a Research Assistant at the Global Health & Innovation Lab. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from Western University and is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor at Western Law. At the lab, she contributes to the Strengthening Pandemic Vaccine Preparedness in Africa project through research examining the upstream factors associated with differences in COVID-19 vaccination rates and the factors that shaped vaccine deployment across health systems. Her research interests are driven by a desire to better understand the intersection of health policy, innovation, law, and health disparities, and how evidence can inform more equitable and effective health-system responses.
